I’ve built many different types of instruments since starting in 1998, and repaired/rebuilt even more. This variety is essential to what I feel I bring to the drafting table and workbench as I design and build my guitars. Charters Guitars is located downtown Kalamazoo (in the basement of Kal-Tone repair/retail shop) and serves as my personal workshop where I build, restore, and occasionally help out with Kal-Tone repairs.
